Terms of Service

I. Definitions
The following Terms of Service are an agreement between Filip Hruška (Herein referred to as "SkylonHost", "us", "we") and "you", the customer. By using services provided by SkylonHost, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and SLA Policy (together, the "Terms"). SkylonHost reserves the right to modify these Terms as needs change or arise. Any changes will be communicated to our customers in advance.
II. Account Registration
In order to receive a service you need to be at least 18 years old and provide valid billing details on the order form. You may be subject to additional screening procedures at order time. We reserve the right to refuse you a service for any reason.
SkylonHost utilizes FraudRecord and FraudLabs to screen new orders for previous fraudulent activity and report existing clients who violate our Terms. In case of a violation, you may be reported to FraudRecord for misbehaving using non-identifiable anonymous information.
Customers may not open multiple accounts nor try to circumvent our screening process in any way.
III. Refunds
In case you are not satisfied with our services, you can request a refund within 14 days since the service was provisioned and all charges (excluding any setup fees and software licence fees) will be refunded. Refund requests made at a later date may not be honored.
If SkylonHost suspects the refund system is being exploited in any way, we may deny the refund request.
IV. Service
SkylonHost reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate a service at any time.
In case we decide to cancel your service without a cause, we will refund you on a pro-rata basis.
You are solely responsible for all content on your account. You are responsible for backing-up your data. We will not be held liable for any damage or loss caused by usage of our services.
V. Billing
All billing data can be managed using our secure billing portal at https://cloudie.skylonhost.com. We do not store nor process any sensitive payment data (such as credit card numbers and PayPal credentials) on our systems, they are handled by payment gateway providers.
We expect invoices to be paid on time. Service will be suspended after 5 days of non-payment and terminated in 10 days after due date.
In the event a customer opens a dispute or a chargeback against SkylonHost, we will immediately suspend all services on the account.
VI. Cancellation
Service cancellation can be done by simply deleting all used resources through our billing portal at https://cloudie.skylonhost.com.
VII. Service Suspension
Upon suspension, your service is brought offline in a way that will prevent any access. The service will not brought online until the problem is resolved.
VIII. Service Termination
Upon termination, all related data is destroyed. Some billing-related data will be retained in order to satisfy legal requirements for data rentention.
Privacy Policy
Cookies
Cookies are small text files send by web browsers, which are used to store text strings on devices of users. These files may contain anonymous unique identifiers.
SkylonHost website uses cookies to:
- Improve the website usability
- Analyse the use of our website
- Prevent abuse of our website
- Gather statistical information about users
- Enable use of targeted advertising
- Enable features such as a shopping cart
- Enable logging in to control and billing panels
- Track affiliate links
You may also be sent third party cookies from our providers, including, but not limited to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics is a tool for generating statistical and behavioral information about users using cookies. Google is responsible for storing data generated from Google Analytics and their privacy policy is available here: https://google.com/policies/privacy/.
Personal information
We may collect, store and use the following types of personal information:
- Information related to billing and ordering This includes, but is not limited to your full name, address, email address, username, payment identification and one-way hashed passwords.
- Information about your network connection and devices used to access our services Such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system type and version
- Any other information that you provide us
We may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To send you transactional information, e.g. email
- To supply your ordered services
- For invoicing and billing
- To prevent abuse and fraud
- To personalize your shopping and browsing experience
- To verify compliance with Terms
All financial transactions are handled using third party payment providers:

Should your personal information we hold change (e.g. your billing address changes), you need to inform us of this event.
You may request an archive of your personal information we store.
In case of a data breach we will contact all affected clients within 72 hours of becoming aware of the data breach. This rule does not include data breaches caused by the client due to weak account passwords.
Do Not Track policy
We currently do not handle DNT (Do Not Track) signal.
Security
We store your personal information on secure servers in the European Union. All communication between your computer and our billing website is done over an end-to-end encrypted connection. We take reasonable precautions to prevent abuse or loss of your personal information.
Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information to our employees, suppliers or contractors on a need-to-know basis.
